Welcome to this year’s Indian Cultural Festival at the open-air museum Hägnan, arranged by the Indian association in Luleå. An exciting and colourful day where Indian traditions meet old Swedish traditions. Enjoy music and dance performances on the stage, try traditional Indian attire, get a henna tattoo, stop for a coffee at the café and purchase Indian food from one of the food stands.
You can also visit the museum farmsteads and learn more about life in the old farming community in the North of Sweden.For those of you who like to play, you can also try kite flying and traditional, Swedish outdoor games.

On the stage:
- 11:00-11:20 Inaugural speech by the Ambassador of India (with reservation for changes).
- 11:20-11:30 Indian Classical Dance-Bharatanatyam performance by Ms Prisha Panigrahi.
- 11:30-11:40 Indian Classical Dance-Odissi performance by Ms Subhamita Maitra.
- 11:40-11:50 Dance performance by Luleå Hembygdsgille's dance group.
- 11:50-12:10 Bollywood dance performance by kids and local Luleå talents.
- 12:10-12:20 Musical performance by the band The Barnyard Bandits.
- 14:00-14:10 Indian Classical Dance-Bharatanatyam performance by Ms Prisha Panigrahi.
- 14:10-14:20 Indian Classical Dance-Odissi performance by Ms Subhamita Maitra.
- 14:20-14:30 Bollywood dance performance by kids and local Luleå talents.
- 15:55-16:00 Closing remarks and end of the festival.
