Weekly summer program at Hägnan

Hägnan’s summer season 2026 runs from 16 June to 16 August. From Tuesday to Sunday, the museum farmhouses, the Country Store and Café Fägnan are open. All children’s play areas are up and running and a wide range of activities take place between the farmsteads and inside the houses. Check out our weekly programme here!

Every week June 16 - August 16

Monday - Sunday
11 AM – 4 PM Café Fägnan is open.

Tuesday - Sunday
11 AM – 4 PM The museum farmhouses, the Country store and the Children’s play areas are open.

Tuesday - Sunday
11 AM – 4 PM Self-guided activities for children: Try the activity In Linnaeus’s Footsteps, play puppet theatre at the playhouse, try on clothes from the past at the croft or take a self-guided herb walk.

Tuesday - Thursday (from June 23)
1 PM in Swedish and 2 PM in English: Guided tour of the large farmhouse and the croft (50 SEK per person, free for children under 18 years old). Pre-book here.

Wednesday (from June 23)
12 PM – 2 PM Baking for children (20 SEK per bread).

Thursday (from June 23)
1.30 PM Animal presentation (30 SEK per person, free for children under 3 years old). Pre-book here.

Friday (from June 23)
12 PM – 3 PM The Vintage shop is open.
1 PM Dramatised walk with the vagabond, seeking a cure for his toothache (50 SEK per person, free for children under 18 years old). Pre-book here.

Saturday - Sunday (from June 23)
1 PM Teacher-led school lesson from the year 1920 above the Children’s country store. Followed by Ling-gymnastics in the yard at 1:15 PM.

The guided tour, the animal presentations and the dramatised walk must be booked in advance here on the website. Tickets can also be purchased in the Country Store on the same day, subject to availability.
