The markets at Hägnan have an old-fashioned character. Focus lies on traditional, small-scale produced handicraft products, artworks, crafts, packaged food products and baked goods.
Here we post information about market stalls when it’s time to book for events such as the Christmas market, the summer market and the national day celebration.
Book a market stall at Hägnan’s Christmas market 2025
On December 6–7 from 12 PM–4 PM, it’s time for this year’s Christmas market at the open-air museum Hägnan. We welcome vendors who sell traditional and small-scale produced handicraft products, artworks, crafts, delicacies and home baked goods. Prepering and serving food and drinks for immediate consumption is not permitted except for Kafé Fägnan. In some cases, small food samples for tasting are permitted. The Christmas market at the open-air museum Hägnan has an old-fashioned character, therefore plastic and synthetic materials must be avoided. However, food products may be packaged in plastic bags for sale. It’s not permitted to participate on the sole purpose of spreading information about political parties, organizations and societies. The open-air museum Hägnan reserves the right to reject/cancel vendors who do not meet the criteria above.

Facts about the market stalls
You can book a stall outdoors or indoors in unheated outbuildings and barns. All stalls have access to electricity. We provide all market stalls and tables. It's not permitted to bring your own tents, tables, heaters or clothing racks. It is not permitted to cover your stall with large tarpaulins as protection against weather and wind. Vendors must bring their own extension cords and lighting that blends in with the historical environment. Please note that there are restrictions on what these may look like, see our terms and conditions for details.
Market stall options
This is what the market area looks like. When the booking opens, you will be able to choose which area and stall you prefer. Please keep in mind that the stalls are very popular, so make sure to book in good time before the event. Number 90 is Kafé Fägnan's market stall and therefore unbookable.
