Terms and conditions for vendors at Hägnan's summer market

Products on the market

The market has an old-fashioned and genuine character. We welcome self-produced handicrafts, artworks, delicacies and home-baked goods. Please note that pre-packaged food products are allowed but that all food and drinks for direct consumption are handled by Kafé Fägnan.

We do not accept bookings where the primary purpose is to spread information about political parties, associations or organizations.

Not sure if your products fit in? Get in touch and we will be happy to help you. The open-air museum Hägnan can cancel vendors who do not follow the direction of the market.

Booking and payment

The market stall is paid in advance and the booking is binding. You will receive a digital confirmation immediately after booking – check that everything is correct. In case of non-payment, the place will be cancelled. Hägnan can move market stalls if necessary.

Cancellation

You can cancel no later than 7 days before the market by email to hagnan@lulea.se or phone +46 920 45 30 00 for a full refund. Late cancellations are non-refundable.

Check-in, check-out and transport on site

The check-in opens at 8 AM on the first market day. The market stall must be emptied and cleaned no later than 5 PM on the last market day.

Cars may be used for shorter unloading/loading up to 30 minutes before opening and no earlier than 15 minutes after closing. This applies even if you sold out of products before the end of the market. Parking for vendors is available in the parking lot behind Kafé Fägnan, it is not allowed to park your car in the market area itself.

If, for unforeseen reasons, you are unable to attend one of the market days or have sold out, please notify us by email to hagnan@lulea.se no later than 8 AM on the same day.

Market stalls and order

For fire safety reasons, candles and open flames are not allowed.

The market stalls are equipped with a roof and are without electricity as standard. Electricity can be added at no extra cost by emailing us at hagnan@lulea.se well in advance of the market.

Hägnan provides all market stalls and tables. Extra tables and racks to expand the marketplace may not be used; Book two seats if you need more space.
To preserve the traditional character of the market, weather protection in the form of tarpaulins or similar may only be used if the weather requires it.

You can put up discreet signage that blends into an old-fashioned environment at your own market stall, but not in the surrounding area. Keep it clean and tidy both in front of and behind the stall.

The museum area is a sensitive archaeological site, which means that it is forbidden to damage the land and the buildings. You are therefore not allowed to stick sticks into the ground or attach anything to the buildings. You are responsible for any damage to property or inventory caused by you or your party. Hägnan is not responsible for forgotten items or damage to products.

Unforeseen events

In the event of events such as war, natural disasters, strikes, fires or other circumstances beyond our control, Hägnan can cancel the agreement. You will then receive a refund of the fee except for the part that corresponds to the time used.

Documentation with film and photo

Pictures and videos from the event may be used for the purpose of informing about the event and marketing it and future events on behalf of Luleå municipality. When booking, you agree to receive information about future market opportunities. Please let us know by email to hagnan@lulea.se if you do not wish to receive information from us for this purpose.
