Welcome to Hägnan's dance floor this summer, now some of Luleå's dance associations invite you! Dance with us on a few selected Wednesday evenings – maybe you'll find your favorite dance this summer.
The evening begins with a try out session for beginners and then continues with social dancing for everyone who already know the turns.
- June 11, Luleå Bugg and Swing at 6 pm-9 pm.
- July 9, Oriental hips at 6 pm-8 pm.
- August 6, Heedman Dance Company at 6 pm-9 pm.
- August 13, Polskedansgruppen from Luleå hometown guild at 6 pm-8 pm.
About the dancefloor
Dancefloors were built around the turn of the century the year 1900, when association life grew in scope. It was no longer just flat meadows and road crossings that became common for Saturday night's dance but also dancefloors. At Hägnan we have a yellow dancefloor with a newly renovated floor waiting for you to pass by.
