FAQ for visitors to Hägnan's Christmas market
Welcome to a traditional Christmas market in a cosy and genuine environment. Here you can meet mr and mrs Claus, go on an exciting fairy-tale walk, learn more about the old Swedish Christmas traditions from the1880s and stroll among our carefully selected exhibitors, where you might find a Christmas gift or two.
According to tradition the the Christmas market at Hägnan is arranged the second weekend in Advent. We have 90 exhibitors participating, that sell everything from home baked goods to handicraft products.
Tickets
To avoid crowding we have a limited number of entrance tickets, so make sure to buy your ticket in good time before the event. You can pre-purchase your ticket from November 20th at 9 am. The pre-booking closes one day before each market day.
The entrance fee is 30 SEK per person if you pre-purchase your ticket online, 50 SEK per person on location by the entrance. Free for children under the age of 18. The ticket is non refundable. Tickets by the entrance will only be sold if we have capacity for more visitors on the area.

Program
Saturday 12 pm-4 pm
- Food and handicraft products for purchase.
-Traditional forging in the smithy.
- Fairytale walk for children at 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm.
- Old Christmas preparations in Storgården (the large farmhouse).
- Meet the wise "mother Hulda" in Storgården (the large farmhouse) 1 pm-4 pm.
- The sheep are fed 12:30 pm
- Meet our human christmas goat "Julsven".
- Meet mr and mrs Santa Claus outside the Peri-Hanscha house.
- Meet Santa's reindeer 12 pm-3 pm.
- Listen to traditional folk music in Storgården (the large farmhouse) 2 pm-3 pm.
- Take a horse and sleigh ride (if there is snow on the ground).
- Mulled wine (non-alcoholic) and pastries for purchase.
- The Country store and Kafé Fägnan are open.
Sunday 12 pm-4 pm
- Food and handicraft products for purchase.

- Listen to traditional folk music in Storgården (the large farmhouse) 2 pm-3 pm.

Parking
There will be parking attendants by all large parking lots. The parking fee is 30 SEK and the revenues go to the association that manages the parking.
