Explore the world heritage Gammelstad church town and the open-air museum Hägnan on a traditional kick sled. A fun way to get around in the winter!
A fun and exciting way to explore the area during the winter is on a kicksled. During the winter season you can rent a traditional "spark" at the Visitor Center. The roads are not always suitable for kicksledding but when they are, don't miss the opportunity to give it a go!
The kicksleds are available for rental during the opening hours of the Visitor Center. The prize is 60 SEK per kicksled and they must be returned before the Visitor Center closes.
Only available from late December to March or when the weather allows it.
