The exhibition "Gammelstad – A World Class Church Town"

Welcome to the interactive exhibition about the history of the church town at Visitor Center. Here you can take part in stories from today's church cottage owners and learn more about the world heritage and the church town past and present. You can also build and decorate your very own church cottage in our digital game. In the exhibition there is also a full-sized model of a church cottage that you can go inside.

For children we have our own little mouse family Gammelstadsson, who help explain the world heritage in a fun and simple way. The mice are also hidden in various clever places around the exhibition. Come look for them and see how many you can find!

The exhibition's children's activities also include a dress-up corner with historical clothing, a sleigh and stick horses and a small table where you can sit down for a game of tick-tack-toe or coloring and crafts.

The exhibition is located on the 2nd floor of the Visitoor Center. It can be reached by the main staircase in the hallway or by elevator if needed (inform the staff on location if you wish to use it).
