December open Hägnan

The country store

Welcome to the country store at the open-air museum Hägnan! Here you will find an exciting mix of household utensils, handicrafts, toys, textiles, souvenirs and sweets, among other things. The store is designed to reflect what a country store might have looked like in the period following the first world war, when the shopkeeper made a bit of extra money during the subsequent economic depression.

Café Fägnan

Stop for a cup of hot coffee and a cookie! A cosy café in an old-fashioned style, centrally located on the museum grounds. Café Fägnan is run by Knife & Fork, which also has Café La Vache in Luleå. Click here for for more information on the café's website External link.
