Weekly Program – The summer at Hägnan

The open-air museum Hägnan’s summer season runs from June 17 to August 17. During this time, the museum farm houses, the country store, and café Fägnan are open. All of the children's play areas are running, and many activities take place between the farms and inside the houses. Check out our weekly program here!

Every week from June 17 to August 17

In addition to the weekly program below, we have many events at Hägnan throughout the summer. You can find them here!

Monday - Sunday
11 AM – 4 PM Kafé Fägnan is open.

Tuesday - Sunday
11 AM – 4 PM The play areas are open: The children’s country store, café and barn, the children’s square, the hay jump and the old schoolroom.

Tuesday - Sunday
11 AM – 4 PM The Country Store and museum farm houses are open.

Tuesday and Thursday - Sunday (from June 24)
1 PM Teacher-led school lesson from the year 1920 above the Children’s country store. Followed by gymnastics in the yard at 1:15 PM.

Tuesday - Friday (from June 24)
1 PM in Swedish and 2 PM in English: Guided tour* In the Shadow of the Ancient Forest – The Farmer’s Life in Rural Norrbotten (50 SEK/person, free for children under 18 years old).

Wednesday (from June 24)
12 PM – 2 PM Baking for children (20 SEK per bread).

Thursday (from June 24)
1.30 PM Animal presentation* (30 SEK/person).
14 PM Horse and carriage ride (30 SEK/child, 50 SEK/adult).

Friday (from June 24)
12 PM - 3 PM The Vintage shop is open.

*Pre-book your ticket at visitgammelstad.se/book. Tickets can also be purchased at the Country Store on the day, subject to availability.
