A log building that serves as a fully functional forge at Hägnan. Due to the risk of fire the forge was traditionally placed at a distance from all the other farm buildings.
The farm’s forge manufactured everything from horseshoes and nails to hooks and agricultural implements. The forge at Hägnan is originally from Långträsk. Today it's used for the open-air museum’s educational activities. The premises can be rented and courses are also held here.
