The playhouse once stood near the manager’s house on Svartöbrinken, where it was owned and used by the well-known playwright, author and actor Staffan Westerberg.
Staffan Westerberg, in the picture to the right, is best known to the public for his classic program for children "Vilse i pannkakan".
The playhouse is from the late 1930s. As a building type, the playhouse is primarily a bourgeois phenomenon that dates from the end of the 19th Century to the beginning of the 20th Century. It was not until later that it became popular in rural areas.
