Nothing tastes as good as freshly baked bread! Try traditional bread baking at the open-air museum Hägnan and learn more about the old Swedish baking tradition.
Learn how to bake the soft, traditional bread ''klådda'' in a wood fired oven at the open-air museum Hägnan. During the activity you will also learn more about our old, Swedish folklore beliefs. For example, did you know that it's said that the number of folds on your bread will reveal how many suitors you will have during the year? Who knows what your bread will tell you...
This activity is suitable for those of you who want to do something fun together and learn more about the old Swedish baking tradition. Send in a booking request by e-mailing Hägnan at hagnan@lulea.se and we'll get back to you with a price offer. The activity is offered in Swedish and English and takes approx. 60 minutes.
Please note that the baking house only takes up to 15 people, groups up to 30 pax must therefore book two sets.
